Ruby Rhubarb & Custard.
Inspired by the memories of the sweets I used to enjoy or dislike during early childhood.  My grandad would give me pocket money and tell me not to spend it all on sweets. Of course within five minutes or so that is exactly what I did.
With the intentions to share them.
 
Rhubarb and custard an old british sweet often enjoyed by all ages with that in mind. I wanted this portrait to feel current as it's the kind of boild sweet that has seemed to age like fine wine.
