Inspired by the memories of the sweets I used to enjoy or dislike during early childhood. My grandad would give me pocket money and tell me not to spend it all on sweets. Of course within five minutes or so that is exactly what I would do.

Red is inspired by Red Liqourice. An unexpected final addition. My son politely asked me to purchase a pack and just like that Red came to mind. It's not often i paint from my imagination, but I'm happy with the results.
