Humble Humbug.
Inspired by the memories of the sweets I used to enjoy or dislike during early childhood. My grandad would give me pocket money and tell me not to spend it all on sweets. Of course within 5min or so that is exactly what I would do.
With the intentions to share them.
This piece has the appearance of the humble humbug. A stripy hard boiled minty sweet with a soft center. As a child this was never the sweet I asked for or purchased. However it was certainly the sweet I was offered whever an elder asked if I wanted a sweet. Funny I often have them in my bag to now.
